In this series, we learnt about characteristics of love according to the famous love chapter in the Bible. On this day of love, its important to note that love is not just an emotion or feeling rather it involves taking action.
The 14 characteristics of Love according to 1 Cortinthians 13:4-8 are as follows.

The greek word for endure in this scripture is hupomenó.

They say love conquers all, but the power of love can truly last a lifetime. Throughout time, love has been described in countless forms, in countless languages, and in countless religions and cultures. But the power of love never waivers; it endures in the hearts and minds of all who feel it, no matter where we come from.
Throughout the Bible, love is described as patient, kind, and unwavering in the face of hardships. Love endures, just as it did when it was first recorded in the Bible, despite all the passing of years, religions, and civilizations.
True love endures through thick and thin, through the ups and downs, and through good and bad times. No matter how hard things may seem or how trying a situation may be, love is an unbreakable bond that brings us closer together and endures even when the chips are down.
This is why, when things don’t always go our way and the struggles of life threaten to tear us apart, love can remain our most precious ally and a beacon of hope for a better future. It helps us to get through the darkest times and is a testament to the power of human emotion and spirit.
So no matter what comes your way, never forget that love endures and will be there to keep you going and hold you up when you feel like you have no other support. That is what makes love so special and why we should always treasure and honor it.
On this beautiful day of love, let's remember that love is for the long haul. You will overcome any challenge as long as we keep the love of God in your hearts and lives.
